Our budget mattress replacement
solution that encompasses all the
benefits of a high end system, the Aeria 8
Mattress Replacement System is
indicated for the prevention and
treatment of skin breakdown and
pressure ulcers in patients at medium
to high risk.
The mattress replacement is
constructed from 21 x 8 inch (200mm) transverse
cells that cyclically inflate and deflate in
an alternating pattern. Cyclic alternation
of pressure prevents arterial and venous
capillary occlusion in the patient’s
surface tissue – maintaining and
simulating the flow of blood and
lymphatic fluids through these tissues to
provide essential oxygen and remove
metabolic waste products.
