Featured to suit home or long term care
environments, the Aeria 5 is an
economical Mattress Overlay System
indicated for the prevention and
treatment of skin breakdown and
pressure ulcers in patients at low to
medium risk.
The overlay is constructed from 18 x 4.5
inch (115mm) transverse cells that cyclically
inflate and deflate in an alternating
pattern. Cyclic alternation of pressure
prevents arterial and venous capillary
occlusion in the patient’s surface tissue –
maintaining and simulating the flow of
blood and lymphatic fluids through these
tissues to provide essential oxygen and
remove metabolic waste products
