Aeria 3
A mattress overlay for low risk
applications or the home environment,
the Aeria 3 Mattress Overlay System is
indicated for the prevention and
treatment of skin breakdown and
pressure ulcers in patients at low risk.
The overlay is constructed from 21
x 3.5 inch (90mm) transverse cells that
cyclically inflate and deflate in an
alternating pattern.
Cyclic alternation of pressure prevents
arterial and venous capillary occlusion in
the patient’s surface tissue – maintaining
and simulating the flow of blood and
lymphatic fluids through these tissues to
provide essential oxygen and remove
metabolic waste products.
